Jon Johnson has been the head coach of the Litchfield
Dragons since 1993 and has compiled a 91-68 record through 2008. He has
led the Dragons to 5 conference championships, two state tournament
appearance, four section final appearances and one trip to the Metrodome. The Dragons
have been first or second in the conference 7 out of the last 14
years and have been to the section final game 4 of the last 6 years. Jon was the head coach for the 'out-state' squad in the
2006 Minnesota High School All-Star Game. Jon Johnson attended South Dakota State University from 1987-1990 where he played outside linebacker. From 1985-1987 he attended Ridgewater college where he was an All-American. Jon is a high school physical education teacher. Fun fact: Jon is an avid outdoorsman who loves to fish and hunt. |

Jim Jackman has coached for the Litchfield Dragons since
1999. He works with the offensive and defensive lines on the
varsity team. Jim attended Wisconsin River Falls from 1990-1994 and played on the offensive line. Jim is an speech language therapist at the middle and high schools. Fun fact: Jim loves the Green Bay Packers. He usually has the last and best word during any Packer/Viking rivalry remarks. |

Terry Luschen has coached for the Litchfield Dragons since
2001. He works with the offensive running backs and defensive
backs on the varsity team. Terry graduated from Willmar High School in 1991 and attended Central College in Pella, Iowa from 1991-1995. Terry played quarterback for the Flying Dutchmen. Terry is a computer programmer for Paisley in Cokato. Fun fact: Terry played football in Australia on a trip with his college team in the summer of 1994. |

Terry Luschen |

Dan has coached for the Litchfield Dragons since
2008. He works with the defensive and offensive lines and coaches the defense during the
Junior Varsity games. Dan attended the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. He was a three year starter and a captain of the football team his senior year. Dan teaches math at the Litchfield High School. Fun fact: Dan loves the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. |

Cory has coached for the Litchfield Dragons since
2008. He works with the wide receivers and defensive backs on the varsity team and also coaches the offense during the
Junior Varsity games. Cory attended Osseo High School and was a captain of the football team. Cory attended the University of Minnesota Duluth. Cory is a science teacher in the Litchfield High School. Fun fact: Cory has been skydiving and played rugby while at UMD. |

Luke Braaten has coached for the Litchfield Dragons since
2000. He works with the offense on the 9th grade team. Luke graduated from Litchfield in 1995 and attended the University of Minnesota from 1995-2000. Luke played outside linebacker for the Gophers. Luke is a math teacher at the Litchfield middle school. Fun fact: Luke played in a Sun Bowl for the Gophers in El Paso, Texas. |

Rick Baumann has coached for the Dragons since 2005.
He works with the 8th grade team. Rick attended Ridgewater College in Willmar from 1993-1995 for his AA degree and then completed his BS degree at Moorhead State University from 1995-1998. In 2006 Rick completed his Master's degree in Education from the University of St. Mary's. Rick teaches third grade at Ripley Elementary School. Fun fact: Rick played 9-man football in high school for the Lester Prairie Bulldogs. |

Bruce has coached in the Litchfield football program
since 1988. He also coached other sports during the
two years prior to 1988. Bruce graduated from Arlington-Green Isle High School, now know as Sibley East - Arlington, Green Isle and Gaylord. Bruce then attended St. Cloud State University for his college degree. Bruce is an English teacher at the Litchfield Middle School. Fun fact: Bruce is a licensed SCUBA diver and umpires many softball games each year. |

Tait has coached for the Dragons since 1996. He attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Tait is a 6th grade math and science teacher at the Litchfield Middle School. Tait is the head girls high school coach for track and field. Fun fact: Tait was a first team All-State selection his senior year in high school at Litchfield. |

Darin has coached 7th grade football for the Dragons
since 2004. Darin also compiles all of the varsity football
statistics every year. He attended St. Cloud State University. Darin is an Industrial Technology teacher at the Litchfield Middle School, and was the Dragons assistant varsity baseball coach from 1996-2005. Fun fact: Darin loves to hunt and fish. |
